There are many different things to see in Marrakech so I thought it deserved it's own post, enjoy!
If you visit Marrakech you wont miss the souks because you may have to walk through them to get to some of the museums. During your walk through the souks admire everything each vendor is selling. These people speak Arabic, French, English, Spanish and probably more languages because they want to be able to sell you their product. Some vendors can be a bit pushy so just politely say no, thank you and they'll leave you alone. Once you see the things you want to buy as souvenirs then ask different vendors for different prices because sometimes they will give you a higher price depending on what language you speak and how you negotiate. I always told people I was from Mexico and they told me they would give me a great price since I had pesos hahah Whether you buy something or not enjoy walking around the souks and look at all the awesome things they have!
The Koutoubia Mosque
The Koutoubia Mosque is beautiful! Unfortunately, non-Muslims cannot enter to see it but you can always see it from outside. It's quite tall so it's a good guiding point just in case you get lost inside the souks.
The Saadian Tombs
Here is where all the Kings of Morocco and their servants are buried. I'm not a big fan of cemeteries but these tombs are really pretty to see.
Palais de la Bahia
This beautiful palace is an empty museum but with so much to see. From it's beautiful gardens to it's gorgeous Islamic architecture, this place will definitely make you want to change some of the design inside your own home.
Ben Youssef Madrasa
The Ben Youssef Madrasa was a school where Islamic scripture and law used to be taught but now it's one of Marrakech's beautiful museums. This school is full of small rooms where students used to stay in and they're all worth looking at.
Palais El Badi
(Photographed above) This museum has so much history and many different things to see. There's an underground part of the museum and I don't want to give away what's under so you'll have to go an find out!
Hotel La Mamounia
La Mamounia is said to be the most beautiful hotel in Marrakech. They have a beautiful garden that anybody can walk in and see so if you're interested in seeing this Hotel then I recommend you go walk around it's garden and then you can have a nice drink in their outside patio.
The Atlas Mountains and The Museum of Marrakech
We had reserved a day to go up to the Atlas Mountains and on during our trip to the mountains it actually began to pour rain so we weren't able to make it but I definitely recommend checking it out. Our tour guide made a couple cool stops before we had to return so it's totally worth it. The museum of Marrakech is unfortunately not one we got to see but I read wonders about it everywhere and if you're there I hope you're able to make it and share all your photos with me! hahah
I hope you enjoy your trip to Marrakech and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
